Nudgebook — last updated 21 October 2026

Overview

Nudgebook ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps you keep notes and follow-up reminders about the people you meet on LinkedIn. This policy explains what the Extension handles and how.

Data we store

The Extension stores the following locally in your browser only, using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API:

This data is not sent to any server operated by us.

Data we do not collect

License verification

When you buy a license, the Extension contacts ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe for card payments, to check whether this browser's installation has an active license. Only that check is sent — no browsing data and no contact data. ExtensionPay's and Stripe's privacy policies apply to the purchase itself.

LinkedIn data

The Extension reads publicly visible profile information (name and headline) from LinkedIn pages you visit. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted anywhere. Nudgebook never sends connection requests, messages or invitations.

Permissions

Data deletion

You can delete everything at any time by opening the Extension popup and clicking "Clear all data", or by removing the Extension from Chrome entirely.

Website analytics

This website counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint visitors and stores no personal data — only aggregated page and referrer counts. This applies to the website only. The extension itself sends nothing except the license check described above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
